| 内容記述 | Borrowing from the power of arts is gaining attention as a method of revitalizing local communities. Many studies have focused on the positive or negative aspects of art projects in local communities; however, few studies have carefully described the process of interaction among the actors involved in art projects. In this paper, investigating MIND TRAIL OKUYAMATO in Nara as a case study, we conducted participant observation and interviews to clarify how the proactive responses of participants were generated through the mechanism created by the actors involved in the art project. MIND TRAIL OKUYAMATO is an art festival in which participants walk for more than 5 hours in Okuyamato, located in the southern and eastern part of Nara Prefecture, and experience the magnificent nature through artworks. The factors that encouraged the participants' proactive involvement can be roughly divided into three categories: first, the project team's management, second, the proactive behavior of the artists and curators during the art project and third, the events held during the triennial. Each actor involved in MIND TRAIL OKUYAMATO hasbeen engaged in conversations with others in their own way, which has enabled deep mutual understanding and helped them find commonalities with each other. In other words, participants generated a proactive attitude when they regarded MIND TRAIL OKUYAMATO in Nara as something relevant to them through their interactions with other actors. | |||||||||||
