| 内容記述 | Along with adjustment of birthing policies, the number of births in China is gradually increasing, but it is still below the government's expectation by the data until 2017. The survey has been conducted to clarify how birth consciousness of married women in urban areas has changed due to the new childbirth policy and what infl uence factors there are. After the "two-child policy" has been carried out, women's willingness of giving birth to the second child became stronger. Regarding gender preferences, the consciousness about bear boys has been reduced, and more women tend to bear a girl as their first child. This study reveals that one of the important factors to repress women's fertility willingness is "soaring childcare costs." It is a reality that it is a heavy burden for general families to raise two children. Also, the results show one factor influencing women's willingness about the gender of second baby's birth is not the traditional "boys preference", but the childcare cost. Besides that, in China, grandparents play an important role, they are regarded as parenting resources for taking care of children. And having children would bring them physical and mental burdens and obstacles to their careers is also a reason why women are not tend to have a lot of children. Last but not least, women would like to give birth is because that it becomes mentally enriched for themselves by having children, and the consciousness of "Retirement support" becomes less popular. In other words, parents' change in value of children makes a great infl uence on married female's fertility desire. | |||||||||||
