| 内容記述 | This report considers CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility) within a community and in collaboration with the population. One ofthe greatest industrial waste illegal dumping cases in Japan occurred in Teshima in 1975 and was on-going for a period of 25 years. The people ofTeshima started a neighborhood protest movement with the sole aim of solving this major problem and, consequently, the decision to remove the industrial waste was eventually made in 2000. However, primary induStries on the island were already devastated by the general aging of the population and by the damage caused by continuing negative rumors. The community became gradually impoverished. Caught in such a situation, Teshima locals then followed a less-hurried lifestyle, with the assistance of Youth CSR activity following later. This report pays particular attention to it. Chapter 1, I talk ofthe purpose ofthe main subject and outline a previous study. Chapter 2, I investigate the general state of Japanese CSR nationwide. Chapter 3 considers a specific example of CSR activity by a company associating whole-heartedly and in good faith with the Teshima populace. Chapter 4, I suggest that the particular corporate activity, indeed, brought about positive development. The Teshima population benefited from this new relationship and the on-going CSR activity and it is thought that a strong bond is gradually being formed. The study method I used analyzed several primary documents such as questionnaires and surveys, listening and talking to the locals and extensive general observation that I personally carried out. | |||||||||||
