| 内容記述 | Joint engagement has long been recognized as an interaction format that is instrumental in infant's development, and classifi ed into supported joint engagement（SJE） and coordinated joint engagement（CJE). This study examined the development of SJE in motherinfant interaction. A mother-infant pair was observed in laboratory setting when infant was 6-13 months of age. Analyses focused on the relation between lower-order supported joint engagement（LSJE), higher-order supported joint engagement（HSJE） and CJE. The main results were as follow. First, LSJE occurred from 6 months and no change in frequency of occurrence throughout observation period while HSJE occurred from 8 month and were most frequent at 10 months. Second, HSJE were more likely to elicit CJE than LSJE. These results indicated that in interactions with infants in the second half of the fi rst year of life, caregiver's supportive behaviors can play an important role in the transition from SJE to CJE. | |||||||||
