| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper reviews the classic works of Eric John Ernest Hobsbawm, Benedict R. O'Gorman Anderson, and others, with the aim of making more effective use of their perspectives on the point of contact, considering that the focus of nationalism studies in the 1980s is one that is also being used in locality studies.The first chapter explores aspects of Hobsbawm's own Invention of Tradition that were not explored in depth, considering that the perspectives held by nationalism studies in the 1980s were also very relevant to locality studies. Chapter 2 looks back at the development of nationalism studies in the 1980s through the arguments of Ernest Gellner, who had a similar consciousness to Hobsbawm, and Anthony D. S. Smith, who took a critical stance toward them. Chapter 3 reviews the position of Anderson's "Imagined Community" theory, and then considers the locality theory of Arjun Appadurai, who inherited Anderson's perspective. In the final chapter, I aim to consider ways to reuse the perspectives at the interface of nationalism and locality studies in the 1980s in the present day. For example, if a fan of an idol feels connected to other fans through the idol, even if the fan supports the idol and does not engage in social networking, does not go to live concerts or concerts, and only watches the idol on music programs broadcast on TV, then the community to which the fan person belongs is the community the fan person belongs to does not exist in reality. It is also an "imagined community. However, idols and fans do exist in reality, and "imagined community" involves "reality" and "imagined community" involves "reality. The source of the Imagined Community, whether local or national, cannot be captured by simply following the real community, but it is necessary to first think about the things that evoke the Imagined Community, and one of them is "The Invention of Tradition" is one of them. | |||||||||||
