内容記述タイプ Abstract
内容記述 This paper attempts to clarify that the concept of “living in language" in Sprache und Erziehung, a work of O.F. Bollnow, serves as the impetus for physicality, by looking at his books on the theory of cognition: Sprache und Erziehung, Philosophie der Erkenntnis, and Das Doppelgesicht der Wahrheit. At the same time, this paper proposes a theory that the physicality of living in language emerges as the physicality that possesses otherness, considering that the notion of living in language represents the unification of the subject and the object in a dialogue, which can be realized by a receiver's act of trying to interpret a speaker's language (verbal expression), and that physicality exists as an opportunity for a dialogue held, based on the interpretation, between the subject and the object. First, it was confirmed that the mechanism of humans' language acquisition, proposed by Bollnow in Sprache und Erziehung, can be considered to be the mechanism of cycling in which the subject, or “I," understands and interprets the language given to absorb it, expresses the language in the world given to “me," and then returns it to the other side. Next, this paper looked at dialogue. Based on Bollnow's argument in his book titled Das Doppelgesicht der Wahrheit that dialogue with others is essential in order for humans to arrive at the truth, it was made clear that living in language, as described in Sprache und Erziehung, represents the unification of the subject and the object, which can be realized when in expression via language (speaking, telling and saying, which are all physical acts), the speaker (the subject) sends a message via language to the receiver (the object) and the object interprets the message and returns it to the subject. The above explains form of hermeneutics defined by Bollnow, therefore this paper made it clear that the act of expression as dialogue through the medium of language represents hermeneutical physicality, and that living in language can be recognized as hermeneutical physicality.
