| 内容記述 | Yume no kayoiji monogatari is a story which was written about in the Nanbokucho period or Muromachi period. We can see eight `haebaeshi' in this story. According to my survey, this number is so many than other works. Because the number of 'haebaeshi' is one or two in general. Even in "Genji monogatari", we have only four 'haebaeshi'. This indicades that "Yume no kayoiji monogatari" tends to use this word more frequently than in the number of papers. My purpose of this research is to clarify the meaning and the usage of words of "Yume no kayoiji monogatari" by classifying each 'haebaeshi' into several kinds. This study shows us what this story looks at as 'haebaeshi'. Generally, we can see two kind of usage of this word. One is used by its narrator, to admire the character's behavior. The other tend to be used by sad characters, remembering the deceased or the person who gave way to being separated. The former is five examples, each is tend to be conscious of social positioning. The latter is three examples, each is rooted in the character's feeling. It is characteristic that 'haebaeshi' in "Yume no kayoiji monogatari" is used when its character is sad to lose important person. | |||||||||||
