| 内容記述 | SHIMA SEIKI Mfg., Ltd. is the leading manufacturer of the computerized flatbed knitting machine and related design systems which has its main office and factory in Wakayama City, Japan. Mr. Masahiro Shima, its current president, started the business. Despite the negative impact of oil shock, it reached Japan's top three in ten years and world's top level in twenty years from the start-up with the successful development of mass-produced computerized machines and comprehensive design systems. According to Chester I. Barnard, informal organizations have important functions to support formal organizations. A review of the theories of sociability of Georg Simmel and Masakazu Yamazaki and an analysis of results of my field studies at SHIMA SEIKI revealed that proper functioning of informal organization depends considerably on the element of sociability where method and realization process are valued more highly than purpose and result. | |||||||||||
