| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to clarify acquisition of fundamental movement from the longitudinal change of running, jumping, throwing movement among young children. Thirty young children (15 boys and 15 girls) participated in this study. Subjects preformed 25-m sprint, standing long jump and tennis ball throw of physical fitness test for young children. Their data were obtained thorough a pursuit measurement the same subject conducted for a period of three years. As a result, all measurements improved with the age in both boys and girls. The tennis ball throw, particularly, had a greater tendency to improve than other measurements, while the gap between high-scoring and low-scoring children increased at 5 years old. In addition, there was a significant negative correlation between the 25-m sprint and standing long jump at 4 year-old children. The present findings indicated that abilities of locomotive movements (ex. running and jumping) and manipulating tools (ex. throwing) developed after 3 years old, and each ability improved interactively. It is suggested that many experiences with a variety of movements in daily play are important in early childhood, and evaluating the results of physical fitness test, based on the developmental stage of fundamental movement, is also useful for understanding the acquisition process of fundamental movements. | |||||
