| 内容記述 | It is commonly regarded that Japan is one of the countries that adopt the welfare state “familialism". In “familiarism", wives are expected to carry huge responsibilities for family welfare, which resulted in maintaining the `male bread-winner' models of social policy. However, due to the economical recession, it became so difficult that husbands earn enough to support wives and children. As a result, nowadays, women have to choose financially dependent men, who are rather limited. It leads women to have to have late marriages and sometimes give it up. Hence, I paid attention to the data, which shows regional differences among big cities, about the rate of marriage and employment rate of women respectively. I researched the big cities according to the national census of 2010 and concluded like this .In big cities, the more men are married, the more wives are hired. | |||||||||||
