| 内容記述 | This paper has two objectives, 1) To introduce the present conditions of drug addiction and prevention (particularly, through focusing on a problem of substance abuse toward children by their parents), 2) To clarifies how to prevent these abuses in the United States of America. This suggest is especially the necessity of supporting the family who had the drug problem in their community. The problem of a family with Drug Addiction serves as risk factor to child Maltreatment -especially neglect- to a child (DHHS). Although the U.S.A. has the problem about the most serious substance abuse, it has many researches and practice simultaneously and realistic goal. So, the problem brings a family and community various danger and difficulties. For example, for a child, the doping within the same room is accompanied also by the risk of indirect inhale. There is a risk of a fault using a drug into a mouth or a child contacting an injector in use accidentally. Moreover, when parent(s) fall into the condition of Drug Addiction, and physical and mental unstable are caused, or they are forced into captivity, parent(s) cannot do their "child care" over long time. In order to prevent and solve such a problem, family support is not only important, but also various measures against prevention are needed (ueno, 2010). Most important treatment is family support system in the community when parent(s) have Drug Addiction -such as taking steps to prevent against a drug as part of school education program "system", or intervene from an early stage in various problems -, and it is extremely important to educate and prevention for young people; such as "Hawaii Meth Project". | |||||||||||
