| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to propose clues about better practice of “Period for Integrated Study" from the perspective of Takeji Kinoshita's concept of “environment." 10 years have been passed since “Period for Integrated Study" was introduced. It also has been determined to carry on under the new teaching guidelines which will start in 2011. We cannot say, however, that “Period for Integrated Study" is a strong fixture in Japanese education. One of the reasons lies in an incomplete understanding of its ideal and principle. In order to look for clues and solve the problems, Takeji Kinoshita's theory of “autonomous study" is suggestive. “Period for Integrated Study" models after his theory as one of its bases. Especially his concept of “environment" is a pivotal thought for a bridge between student's autonomy in learning and teacher's instruction. It is valuable, hence, to research and analyze cases of successful practices of “Period for Integrated Study" from the viewpoint of Kinoshita's “environment." | |||||||||||
