| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to examine the actual conditions of the problems of poverty and social development in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in China's northeast. Firstly, we used the "Inner Mongolia Statistical Yearbook" and introduced the social developments of Inner Mongolia since the day of the establishment of Inner Mongolia 60 years ago. Secondly, we investigated the changes since 1978, when China was gradually transformed from a centrally planned economic system to a socialist market economic system. Thirdly, we looked at the situation since the reform and opening began, when a massive number of Chinese people were moving into Inner Mongolian regions. This resulted in great changes in Mongolian culture. Fourthly, we analyzed the social hierarchy in Inner Mongolia. Fifthly, we examined the actual conditions of the pro blems of poverty in Inner Mongolia. In conclusion, since the founding of Inner Mongolia, especially in the 30 year s after the start of the reform and opening to the outside world in 1978, China has made great achievements in its economic construction and its social development. Following the Chinese economic development and advancement of urbanization, Mongolian traditional nomadic lifestyle was changed to a modern lifestyle. Together, these changes resulted in numerous problems of poverty and social division in Inner Mongolia. For example, the Income gap between urban areas and pastoral tribe areas became wide. Even now, it is a serious problem in Inner Mongolia. This is because China is a united multi-ethnic nation of 56 ethnic groups. Solving the social and regional inequality problems is very difficult and complex. However, I think an adjustment in social structure, science and technology is an important objective in Inner Mongolia. | |||||||||
