| 内容記述 | This paper aims to clarify the life course of each female childcare worker's generation. In Japan, women's work arrangement is what we called a shape of M letter. They cannot keep working while raising children so they interrupt work and concentrate on child rearing. Do the female childcare workers, the female professional and supporter who combine child rearing with work, interrupt work and concentrate on child rearing? The difference of the childcare experiences of female childcare workers' by generation has not been examined in the previous research. These issues are explored through survey data from a sample of 586 female childcare workers. On the one hand, the older generation enters employment for the reason that childcare workers are a "female" profession. On the other hand, the young generation enters employment to find motivation in their work. They successfully combine child rearing with work. In fact, their child rearing promotes continuation of their work and their professional awareness and improvement of their relationship in the workplace. | |||||
