| 内容記述 | 30 years after the one-child policy launched in 1979, the first one-child generation has reached the critical stage of employment, marriage and birth. At present, the competition is becoming more and more fierce and employment is becoming more and more difficult, which is what the generation has to face. This paper is based on a questionnaire which focuses on the views of this generation as to birth and marriage. The analysis leads to the following conclusions: First, the majority of the generation intend to get married and three factors, namely, personality, health and whether they live with parents are the most important things they consider when they choose their helpmates. Those born in the city prefer to get financial aid from parents while those born in the countryside take their own income more seriously. Secondly, influenced by the one-child policy, 53.9% of them would like to have one child only and meanwhile 32.4% prefer to have two children .In addition, when the decision regarding whether to give birth to babies is made, the only child lays more stress on their own freedom while financial aid from parents are focused more attention on by those from a family with more than one child. | |||||||||||
